The first half of the driveway has finished curing, and crews are now working on the other half of the driveway. They have also begun breaking up the walkway on the south side of the building — the path that runs along the wall from behind the academy into the parking lot. If you’re planning to park next door or normally use that walkway to access the academy, please keep this construction in mind and allow a little extra time when arriving. Thank you for your patience as the work continues.

The plumbers are still working to restore water service to the property. In the meantime, please keep in mind that bathrooms and water fountains remain unavailable. With the extreme heat right now, we strongly encourage everyone to bring plenty of water from home and make sure you’re prepared to stay hydrated during class. Quick heads-up for anyone who normally parks behind the academy: the road behind Del Mar Jiu-Jitsu Club has been reclaimed by the North County Transit Authority and is no longer accessible to the public. Please keep this in mind when heading to The Club and plan to use alternate parking. Thanks for your understanding!
